Where It All Started...
In a nutshell, My Haire was born out of necessity.
When I moved from my home country to Dubai, one of the unexpected challenges I faced was finding hair extensions that matched my natural texture. Most of the extensions I could find were straight, sleek styles, and while I occasionally like to wear my hair straight, I really love to wear my natural texture.
It didn’t take long for me to realize that women who wear their natural texture are vastly underrepresented in the hair extension market, even though black women spend up to 6 times more on haircare and extensions than other groups.

Our process is rooted in care — for our donors, our skilled artisans, and most importantly, our Afro girlies. Each bundle is expertly crafted, then carefully inspected through a multi-step quality control system before it makes its way to you.
